Manager: Maria Nicholson

Maria was born and educated on the Island. Her career in Social care began in 1991 working within a small private home on the Island.

Her career with Isle Care started at Osborne Cottage in 1992 as a bank carer then a full time care assistant in 1994, and progressed to a nominated person within the same establishment.

In 1996 she was seconded to Inver House where she worked as an Assistant Manger for a month and then was offered Assistant Managers post at Polars.

Maria became Manager at Steephill in 1999 she has gained her N.V.Q. level 4 in care and her RMA, she is also an N.V.Q. assessor and an independent assessor for the RMA award.
