Job Profile

The post-holder is responsible to the Operations Manager and Area Care Manager. Examples of the work to be carried out are as follows:

  1. Covering the Office Manager and Assistant Administrator for annual leave and sickness (A/L 10 weeks per year).
  2. To assist E.P.H. Managers in assessing NVQ II to comply with N.C.S.C. standards. (1 day per unit per month). We have approximately 100 candidates.
  3. To co-ordinate Buildings and Garden maintenance, currently under review. (proposed responsive and planned maintenance criteria attached).
  4. Undertake project work as designated by the Board, Operations and Area Care Management. Currently working on:
    1. Inserts for Learning Disabilities brochure.
    2. Analysis of night care needs for E.M.I. units.
    3. Is assisting Claire Smith obtaining Quality Premium for E.P.H.’s
  5. To assist the Managers as the marketing representative, both within the Company and externally to Care Managers and other outside agencies.
  6. To represent the Company at conferences and recruitment exhibitions.
  7. Auditing, designated by the Board, Virginia Brown and Keith Gwilym (e.g. medication audit across Isle Care in response to 4 errors in 3 months).
  8. To undertake support for Area Care Manager. (Initial estimate - 10 hours per week). and to increase during Care Planning Review and implementation.
  9. Could be considered if difficulties in covering E.P.H. clerk’s A/L.
